Yirgacheffe
Delicate and tea-like. The one to brew if you think you don't like filter coffee.
Small-batch specialty coffee, roasted to order in a converted warehouse on Albert Road. We don't hold stock for months — we roast what's ordered, the week it ships.
Everything is roasted in 12 kg batches. When a lot runs out we don't re-order it out of season — we move on to what's tasting good.

Our everyday espresso. Forgiving on the machine and it holds up in milk.
Bright and syrupy. Works as filter, and as a single-origin espresso if you like fruit.
Rotating origins chosen by the roaster. Pause or cancel whenever. Free Cape Metro delivery.
We started in 2017 with a second-hand roaster and a stall at the Neighbourgoods Market. The stall is long gone; the roaster is still here, on Albert Road, running four days a week.
We buy through importers who publish what they paid the farm. It isn't a marketing line — it's on the bag, and if you ask us we'll show you the contract.
We supply 34 cafés across the Western Cape. Wholesale pricing starts at 5 kg a week, and includes dialling in your grinder, staff training and a loan grinder if yours dies mid-service.
Every Saturday morning we brew whatever came off the roaster that week — three or four coffees, side by side, no charge. Come and taste before you commit to a bag.
